Alana likes
- Clapping. She's very proud of herself whenever she claps. We try to get her to do it on demand, but mostly, she does it randomly and for no particular reason.
- Sticking out her tongue. This is particularly cute when she's studying a toy or concentrating on something.
- Grabbing jewelry. Alana has a tendency to pull on my earrings and necklaces.
- Crawling! Alana started crawling on 4/1. Such a big girl. Before that, she would get around by scooting around on her belly. She would lay flat and push forward with her hands, which caused her to slide backwards.
- The wind. Alana loves being outside and she smiles any time the wind blows.
Alana dislikes
- Getting her nose cleaned (still)
- First bites --she usually makes a funny face when she takes the first bite of any food. I don't think she actually dislikes it, since she opens her mouth for more, but the grimace she makes me wonder sometimes.
Another milestone aside from crawling: Alana's bottom two teeth have cut through, and luckily she isn't showing any signs of discomfort. She continues to sleep through the night and is happy during the day, and not particularly slobbery either, which is nice.
She's currently in size 4 diapers and 12 month clothing.
