The Brungers

Crae and Kevin (aka Craevin) have been our very good friends since we all met at Hillsboro in 2008. They're family to us. They understand our idiosyncrasies and they love us anyway.  We can be completely, 100% ourselves around them without worry.  I don't think there are many people outside of family we can say that about.

Collectively, we also share many interests such as gadgets, travel, food, guns, books, crafts, God, family, and the list goes on.  Wednesday evenings we eat dinner together at church and on Sundays we often go to lunch together. We even went on vacation with them a couple years ago before Alana was born. The test of a true friendship is traveling together and still loving each other afterwards.  They passed with flying colors.  Whether they would say the same about us, I'm not 100% sure :)  

So why am I blogging about Craevin? 

They have a beautiful daughter Gemma who has struck up a little friendship with Alana. It's sweet to watch. From the time Alana was very young, Gemma would look for her whenever she saw Andrew and me. She wasn't satisfied until she could greet Alana, often rocking and patting her car seat.  Now that Alana is older, they are interacting more than ever.
